Mac Pro 'to launch in April', report

Mac Pro fans will be excited to hear that the latest rumour claims that Apple will be launching a new Mac Pro in April.
A MacDailyNews source claims that the new model could be out as soon as this month. However, he isn't prepared to put all his money on April, apparently: the new Mac Pro "could slip into May or even June, but currently April looks most likely," he said.
The source also seems to be hedging his bets on the form of the new Mac Pro, with the report suggesting that he wouldn't confirm whether it would be a tower, mini-tower, or something else.
Other reports suggest that April would be a little early considering that Intel is to launch a new range of desktop CPUs and a new Thunderbolt controller around the middle of the year.
We would expect Apple to launch a new Mac Pro at WWDC in June. Last year Apple announced a 'new' Mac Pro during WWDC. Complaints that the update was so minor lead the company to later remove the 'New' claim and CEO Tim Cook responded to concerns that Apple would retire the professional Mac in an email with the suggestion that a new Mac Pro would arrive later this year. "Our Pro customers like you are really important to us. Although we didn't have a chance to talk about a new Mac Pro at today's event, don't worry as we're working on something really great for later next year. We also updated the current model today," wrote Cook, stating that a new Mac Pro will arrive at some point in 2013.
Apple has already had to stop selling the Mac Pro in Europe due to changes in safety regulations.
A report back in March also claimed that Apple will release a new Mac Pro in April. "Our San Francisco Bay Area source has just informed T-GAAP.com that the time will be early April 2013," wrote T-GAAP.
